NTPC Solapur celebrated "75th Independence Day" of India with Chief guest, CGM(S), Shri.N.S.Rao, hoisting Indian national flag followed by National Anthem.
Shri.N.S.Rao, CGM (Solapur) touched upon NTPC's achievements in powering the nation and also in contributing to the society in various fields. He appreciated the good work by all departments and also encouraged to meet the challenges ahead.
After CGM (Solapur) ‘s address to NTPC Solapur family, meritorious awards were presented to employees for their exemplary performance followed by other prizes of various competitions.
GM (Tech Services) Shri. Venkataiah Kotakadi , GM(O&M), Shri .Rajeev Akotkar ,GM(Maintenance) , Shri Tapan Kumar Bandyopadhyay, GM (FM) Shri, Bipul Kumar Mukhopadhyay,Shri.Manoranjan Sarangi, AGM(HR), Sr. Executives, HODs, Employees, Members of Unions & Executive Association, SC/ST Association, Sarthi NGO and Members of CISF, Unit Solapur STPP were present on the occasion.
Smt.Vijaya Rao, President, Srijanan Mahila Mandal along with senior committee members graced the occasion.All employees and Family members were present on the occasion.
Children from Bal Bhawan, Twinkle Bell school, KLE (Notre Dame) school presented various cultural programs which was enjouyed by the audience .
CISF also presented a demo on self defense and Fire wing .
The program ended with vote of thanks by Shr.J.P.Balai, DGM(HR)
